Just to remind everyone, we are 100% on for this Saturday for the Rib Crawl.

There is a 10:30am bus pickup at the downtown Big Bamboo (behind the Portman Hotel) and an 11:00am pickup at the CityShop corner in HongQiao (HongMei Lu and Cheng Jia Qiao Zhi Lu)

And then we're off into what will surely be a crawl legend!

In the annals of Western religions, it's been said that, in the beginning, the human race was created by God from a rib taken from Adam to create Eve. Well, over the past couple years of crawling such categories as Tacos, Burgers, Chicken Wings, Dive Bars, Coldest Draft Beers, etc..The SDTCA (Shanghai Drinking and Tasting Crawl Association) goes back to its roots and proudly presents the crawl that started it all: The Best Ribs in Shanghai Crawl.

That's right, this was the first crawl way back in 2008, maybe even 2007. (We have trouble remembering any of the crawls, good thing there are always photos taken to prove we actually have done them) Bubba's in HongQiao will return as defending champion, however, it was a close race last time, and the other venues will be coming after their title this year with all they got.

So, mark your calendars for Saturday, May 22nd. The crawl is open to any and everybody who believes that Saturdays are best spent partying with 40 other people, drinking cold beer, the occasional Jaigermeister or Tequila shot, and judging the best ribs in Shanghai.

The 7 venues are as follows:

Bubba's Texas Saloon
Malone's American Cafe
South Beauty
Di Shui Dong
Southern Belle
Pinnacle Peak
A Chinese Place in Hongqiao(actually don't know the name)

The price is gonna be 360 RMB, which includes:

Party Bus to take us in between the venues
Unlimited Beer and Booze all day long (will have 3 or 4 different kinds of beer, and of course Melissa pouring Jaigermeister shots!)
Over a Full Rack of Ribs throughout the day for each person
Rib Apron and Gloves

The time schedule usually goes from 11am to 6pm.
